Paying Board Grants 8000 to Jacques for Gilman and Davidson Sewers

Bridgeport's Paying and Sewer Commission voted to reimburse Louis Jacques Construction Company 8000 claiming losses on the Gilman and Davidson streets sewers. The Jacques claim followed earlier bids by T J Pardy Company, which forfeited 10000 on a cancelled South End sewer project and had that deposit returned. The commission also awarded the Black Rock Pumping Station contract to the Sanitation Corporation of New York City.
