Hogan lost reelection and McManus did not run. A prior meeting was postponed after Gas Company official Hawley warned key officials would be unavailable and requested data was not ready.
Constantinople dispatch reports General Wrangel's anti Bolshevik army has escaped into Crimea. The Soviet forces failed to outflank and encircle the force as it withdrew, according to Sebastopol sources.
Morristown New Jersey November 6 William Cook seven years old was arrested for the 217th time on a charge of being drunk and disorderly. He was sentenced to 90 days in jail. Cook blamed the Republican victory and an acquaintance with several quarts for his downfall.
Berlin notes the looting of the St Whelreth sarcophagus in the Church of St Elizabeth at Marburg during the night, with about two hundred jewels including twelve pearls valued at 2 000 000 marks, many items impossible to appraise. A Moscow Pravda wireless despatch reports an American mission in South Russia has fallen into Soviet hands. The mission, headed by General Morel, was captured according to the Soviet newspaper. The report was issued from Moscow on November 6.
