Governor's power after adjournment in doubt according to law experts
A long analysis explains that a bill becomes law only if not vetoed within three days after presentation, with Sundays excluded. It discusses whether the governor may sign after adjournment, cites Norwalk case, compares to federal practice, and notes uncertainty if governor can act beyond the period. Opinions warn of unsettled law and potential quo warranto actions.
