June Wedding At St. Anthony's Church
Miss Albina Lacroix wed Rene Sawyer at St. Anthony's on Colorado avenue in an early June ceremony officiated by Rev. Philip Massicot. The bride wore white duchess satin with a long train and crowned veil, carrying white roses and lilies of the valley. the groom is son of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Sawyer. After a large reception, the couple departed for Canada for their honeymoon and planned to reside on Sheridan street after June 15.

In St. Cloud France on June 2 William T. Tilden and Mrs Molla Bjurstedt Mallory advanced to semi finals in their classes at the world hard court championship. Tilden defeated M Danet 6-2 6-1 5-7 6-0 while Jones and Edith Sigourney remain contenders in doubles events.

Examinations for Scholarships at North eastern College
The annual competitive exam for free scholarships at North eastern College will be held at the BLC A building on Monday June 6 at 7 30 p m. Subjects are Bookkeeping and Elementary Accounting open to the 1921 high school class. Passing marks earn credit toward degrees and the two top students receive one year free scholarship valued at 100 dollars. Specimens of past exams and prep help available upon request.
