Prohibition agents chased and arrested Albert J. Wilbur after a pursuit from East Main Street to Milford. Wilbur, of New Town Massachusetts, was found with 300 quarts of Glenmore whiskey in a Winton car. The liquor, valued around 2600 dollars, was seized and Wilbur jailed in Stratford pending arraignment.

Bridge lift repair progress at Stratford Avenue bridge
