Morris badly injured in runaway accident
Dan Morris twenty four of 121 Thompson street was dragged for nearly a block when his horse bolted after a passing car. He suffered fractured ribs and severe injuries to his right hand requiring amputation of the middle finger. Morris was taken to St Vincent's hospital after Dr F W Burns treated him at the Emergency hospital.
