Slayer Is Killed by Georgia Mob

AP reporting that Wile Dixon, a former inmate at the Wilkinson County asylum, was lynched by a mob near the Colony Farm. He was seized last night after an attack on Miss Ary Oxford, a nurse at the asylum, and beaten to death with a pick handle. The body was left at the tree. authorities opened an investigation and coroner’s verdict cites death at unknown parties’ hands. no arrests yet. Dixon had been transferred from Richmond County about a year ago.

Ederle Trainer Denied Other Swim Allegations
