Youth Is Jailed Probation Lifted In Danbury Fight

In Danbury Circuit Court Judge Michael J. Clana sentenced Gary J. Howes 22 of Bethel to one year with five months suspended after a July incident at a Beaver Brook service station. Howes, already on probation for breaking and entering, had his probation revoked to serve four months concurrently with the breach of the peace sentence. Several同 youths including Francis Bruchel 21 Edward McNamara 21 Richard Ferretti 17 John Ferretti 17 and Arthur Finkle 17 faced related charges. witnesses testified the groups planned a fight with fists and injuries followed. Finkle and the Ferrettis earlier faced breach charges. Finkle's case went to juvenile court and McNamara received a 10-day sentence.

Father and two sons fined in hassle with state cop

New Fairfield man Morris Strol and his sons Ronald and Raymond were found guilty by a Circuit Court jury of breach of the peace and obstructing an officer. Judge Giang suspended all jail terms, totaling 250 dollars in fines, with probation for two years, after the May incident at Strol’s New Millard service station involving Trooper Richard Day.
