Judge John J. Walsh granted a temporary injunction preventing Patrol Chief Flanagan and Assistant Prosecutor Keating from interfering with the Bridgeport Bus Association. The order allows 150 jitneys to operate under the club plan until October first or further court order.

Matilda Angione of Broad River is in Norwalk hospital in serious condition with a fractured skull after a collision with an automobile driven by William J. Austin of 139 West street Brooklyn. Angione, a summer resident at Caspaco Beach Westport, stepped from a parked car on New Canaan Avenue and ran into Austin’s vehicle. She was taken to the pavement and her skull fracture was confirmed. Austin rushed her to the hospital where her condition remained unchanged last night. Other accidents in Norwalk today involved victims with arm fractures traveling in cars who would not give names to the police.
