State nun dies injures three in fiery crash

A state nun died and three others were injured when a vehicle crashed off a bank, struck a bridge abutment, and burst into flames after the trunk or rear deck detached. Police said the car plunged over 100 feet, catching fire as it rolled.

Three Die in Naugatuck Route 1 Car Crash

A three car collision on Route 1 in Naugatuck, Connecticut, late Monday night killed three people and injured five others. Victims were Richard Cosgrove, 34, William Waite, 19, and David Angislillo, 51, all residents of Naugatuck. A third car carrying five women crashed into the wreckage and overturned on the front lawn of the Peter Paul plant. Police described Cosgrove as in a small foreign car and Waite in a new model car with Angislillo as passenger. The women were transported to St. Mary's Hospital in Waterbury before release.

Menninger critiques crime policy and police role

Stokes to Moderate Urban Conference
