Authority to Press Evictions In 4 Projects
Bridgeport Housing Authority plans to evict high income tenants from four federal low rent projects despite recent delays by the Public Housing commissioner. Harold C. Poole accuses Charles Slusser of failing to consult the BHA before urging a postponement. Poole notes current income limits are too low for Bridgeport and the agency aims to evict those earning above them. Morano met judges and spoke with Slusser about raising limits, but BHA says no delay word has been received yet.
