Norwalk Girl Found on Manhattan Street

Beverly Degnan a 14 year old Norwalk foster daughter missing since Thursday was found wandering in Manhattan after arriving with Theresa Genest 14 from Fillow Street. Beverly described losing contact with her friend in a subway and said they separated. she was taken to Bellevue hospital and returned home.

Lawsuit Looms In Truck Strike

A trucking employers spokesman said a 10 million dollar damage suit and conspiracy charges would be filed tomorrow against sinking AFL teamsters and against truckers who have signed individual contracts with the union. The teamsters walked out at one minute past midnight yesterday over a 25 cent wage welfare package increase.
