4000 Children to Hear Marine Band This Afternoon
4000 Bridgeport pupils will hear the United States Marine Band free of charge this afternoon at the armory with a second program at the high school tonight. Sponsored by Kiwanis Rotary Advertising Club Symphony Society and Chamber of Commerce the afternoon concert is open to all pupils with some adult seats available. Captain Arthur Dennett will escort the event to ensure safety and a special bus will run from the Protestant Orphan Asylum for additional children. The program features The President's Own Band and promises popular encores including The President Harding's Administration March.
