Bridgeport fuel administrator James D. Skinner issued a set of rules for burning soft coal at home. No deliveries of anthracite except domestic cooking use. No. 1 buckwheat coal unrestricted. Guidelines advise screening coal, maintaining a deep fire, and step by step firing practices to reduce smoke, keep a steady burn, and protect the grate with ash.

Coroner Juhn ft. fhelue will hold an inquiry tomorrow at 2:00 p.m. into the death of Latham Burlett of Chestnut Hill Norwalk.
