The National Education Association announced proposed remedies for unemployment to be taught through the nation’s schools. The campaign, decided with a request from Secretary Hoover, mirrors the food campaign of 1918 and 19.
The ad describes VITAnow yeast tablets as a concentrated yeast vitamin product. It claims benefits for clearer skin, fresher appearance, and general health by aiding digestion, nourishing tissue, strengthening nerves and blood, and boosting energy and brain activity. It notes wide use among men and women and suggests easy mixing with food.
Bridgeport Savings Bank records show deposits tripling across fifty years. Among forgotten account names is Temple Builders, tied to Farstreet Congregation Church. Edward A.
