Town Committee Tug of War Ends With Leonard Threat

Jotney Crash Injures Ten In Milford Area

A jitney bus traveling from Devon to Walnut Beach crashed into a telegraph pole near the Four Corners killing no one but injuring ten. Mrs. George Pullen, 77 Cottese street, Devon, broke a collar bone and suffered facial injuries. her seven year old daughter broke a leg. Ralph Fogs, 12 Broadway, Walnut Beach, had a severe scalp wound. Seven others had minor cuts and bruises. The driver was Wathaniel Allen. the bus veered at Little Bridge and struck a ditch, damaging the radiator and axle. Police investigate. no arrests.
