A Jamestown family of seven perished when their small touring car collided with a Pennsylvania Railroad passenger train at a grade crossing near Port Allegheny, Pennsylvania. 86 Persons Saved from Burning Vessel by Tug

NEW YORK October 5 The ocean going tug Marie Olson rescued 86 passengers from the burning fishing boat Mistletoe off Ambrose Lightship. 22 of the survivors were women.
