Prison guards vote to stage walkout in Michigan City
In Michigan City Ind on October 4 AP reports more than half the guards at the state prison voted to stage a work stoppage and form picket lines. Merle Griffith of the International Guards union said attendance at three shift meetings reached 105, just over half of 197 guards.
