In Newcastle England Premier Lloyd George says British government consulted top jurists who unanimously hold the former German emperor guilty of an indictable offense and extradition. The statement appears in a speech addressing Belgium invasion responsibility.
Captain John O Connell of the Second precinct raided 1224 Pembroke Street last night arresting Vincent Ballester, alleged run of the gambling house. Neighbors said it drew gamblers. earlier raid Wednesday netted thirteen arrests. Ballester escaped then but was tracked down this night and Flo was charged, later released on two hundred sixty dollar bond and set for City Court hearing.
New York November 29 testimony linked Mrs Helen Hamel’s arm marks to teeth of 19 year old Elizabeth Baksa of Freemansburg Pa in the murder trial. Dr Otto Schultze testified teeth impressions may identify the attacker, while defense objected to plaster and wax casts as evidence. The trial resumed amid questions of Baksa’s possible inn and other witnesses including a Sing Sing convict for the defense.
