Successor to Be Named for Church Trustee by Judge
Removal of HE. J Orton as trustee of the Advent Christian Church special fund will come if trustees decide a successor, Probate Judge Frederic A. Bartlett said yesterday. Orton has not fully accounted for many years and removal is sought by the Board of Trustees over a $4,000 bequest from Munson Wade. In 1914 funds borrowed to build the parsonage left a balance with Orton, who has not accounted for the money despite demands. He has been insured by a $4,000 bond. The present trust fund is not expected to recover.
