D Annunzio Commands 50 000 Forces After Dalmatia Coup
Gabriele D Annunzio has expanded his land and sea forces following a stroke in Dalmatia. Estimates place his force at 40 000 to 50 000 troops under a single command, with divisions at Zara and Sebenico and ample supplies for months. Supporters say the move could outpace government control of regular troops amid censorship restrictions.

Mexicans Instructed Not To Molest Consul
Washington reports the Mexican acting foreign minister informed the American embassy that Puebla authorities were told not to molest William Jenkins the American consular agent arrested on collusion charges connected with his kidnapping by bandits.
