Five year old Constance Newhall was critically injured when a car driven by Henry Garippy of Daytona Avenue struck her at Wes Crossing Naugatuck Avenue. Hospital authorities fear the head injuries and fractures may prove fatal. Garippy, briefly detained on a reckless driving charge, said the girl darted into the street. she was taken to Milford Hospital.
