President Eisenhower arrived in Toledo at 8 35 p m and flies in with plans to hunt ducks at Cedar Point club on Lake Erie tomorrow and Saturday. He had just dedicated the Eisenhower Memorial Museum in Abilene Kansas for Veterans Day. Accompanying him were George Humphrey Milton Eisenhower and George Love. The party traveled from Kansas and went to the marshland club three miles from the main highway.

Light plane lands in Fairfield field
A Taylor Cub with two Paterson, New Jersey men aboard made a forced landing about 4 o clock yesterday afternoon in a field off Congress street near North street, Fairfield. The plane was not damaged and both occupants escaped injury. The men, Thomas Coyte and Philip Mauro, were en route from Paterson to Westchester, New York, and lost their bearings when the compass failed. With fuel running low, they landed near Howard A. Smith estate at 9113 Congress street. Mrs Anthony Montreys, visiting Mr Smith, witnessed the landing. They planned to spend the night in Bridgeport and refuel in the morning.
