Two Seriously Injured as Auto Slams into Tree
An automobile driven by Joseph Zambroski of 199 Olliett Street veered off Iranistan Avenue near Engineside Place shortly after noon yesterday, burst into flames, and was destroyed. Two men were seriously injured, one with a fractured skull and another with a broken leg, pulled from the flames by passersby. A third man, intoxicated, was detained by police. The driver was later arrested for evading responsibility. Additional accidents injured two more people nearby, including John Wilson at 237 Wise Avenue.
