Sophomores of Westport High Give Orations
Westport May 26. Sophomore class continued its orations with four speakers presenting Horatius at the Bridge. Wilbur Johnson led with the opening, followed by James Hubnen Frederick Plumb and Lester Shaal. Pole vaulting troubles at Staples last week left Donald Patchen with a gash above the eye and out of action until Monday. Frederick Plumb broke his arm two weeks ago, reducing candidates for the event. Senior class asks students with senior play tickets to return them promptly. Freshmen class to visit Bronx Park by bus tomorrow. Miss Carolina Paulman leads petitioner work. John Burke, hurt ankle recently, shows improvement.
