Milford Crash Prompts Judge to Favor Reckless Driving Probe
On the Milford New Haven turnpike drivers collided amid questions of reckless driving. Judge Jervis D. Brown indicated potential evidence of reckless driving, dismissing a charge after a driver, Joseph Maricond, 47, of New Haven, was fined for an improperly equipped vehicle. The judge noted disputed responsibility between Henry Anderson and Maricond, with Anderson not arrested as a settlement was reached. Additional cases included David Knapp, 44, convicted of driving while intoxicated, and various court cautions and bond issues.
