Farm relief battle shifts to Senate this week
Washington May 23 The farm relief fight moves to the Senate this week as farm group leaders seek a substitute measure after the Corn Belt bill falters in the House. Senate leaders press to act on farm relief despite Touge’s rejection of the Haugen Price Stabilization bill. House committees also push relief talks and other measures.
