Bandits Escape With 280000 In London Mail Truck Robbery
Seven bandits hijacked a British mail truck in central London at dawn. They robbed 100000 pounds in cash plus parcels and 44500 pounds of negotiable currency destined for destruction at the Bank of England. The raid, possibly linked to a May 13 train heist, used two stolen cars and left 18 bags missing.
