College Girls Behavior Better Say Presidents
New York May 47 The right of the individual to do all she pleases is the creed proclaimed by the modern student says President Mary Ti Woolly head of Mt Holyoke College for 27 years. Her faith is corroborated by Dr Henry Noble MacCracken president of Vassar College who notes fewer women students are dropped for moral or academic failures. Woolley says undergraduates are not docile but honor bound. MacCracken says modern girls govern themselves with proper self control. Vassar entrants graduate at 80 percent and ten jobs await each graduate. The external world must realize college girls face life problems with private understanding rather than public scolding.
