West Redding state troopers arrested Roy L Ward 24 a caretaker at the Krause home 49 Chestnut Tr ee road for disorderly conduct in a hostage claim police say he held a gunman inside the house The owner Mrs Linda Krause fled minutes before police arrived Ward was taken into custody at gunpoint after a ruse to lure him out A revolver two other hand guns and two knives were confiscated He was taken to Danbury hospital and committed to Fairfield Hills State hospital for observation.
