Fairfield Sasco Hill road residents oppose boulevard plan

At a Fairfield Town Planning Commission hearing residents along Sasco Hill Road protested against designating a boulevard. The hearing, called to define street lines, aimed to set a 9 foot road from Post Road to Oldfield Road and a 40 foot road along the rest, but locals feared fencing and landscaping rules would preempt future property changes. The session clarified little as protests centered on a boulevard rather than street lines.
