About two hundred attended the Legion Post event at Hairspield last night featuring boys aged 9 and 10 boxing three rounds, act exerts by Red Alien and Pat Dunn, a burlesque bout, acrobatic displays by Dalling Curran Moran, a piano duet, and dancing. Memorial Day plans were announced with a town parade and services on the Town Green.

Hartford Man Dies in Auto Crash Injuries
Meriden May 12 Albert Ladin 30 of Hartford died in Meriden hospital tonight from injuries suffered earlier today in Southington when crushed by a gasoline railway bush on the Northampton division of the New York New Haven and Hartford line. Ladin was driving a bakery delivery truck over a private crossing and attempted to jump when he saw the railway bush. He was dragged 200 feet.

Youth and Aged Man Arrested in Milford
Milford May 12 Georgie Talmadge age 65 of a house boat on Great Lots Creek and Curis Hopwood alias Curis Heppestall 12 are held on technical charges of breach of the peace under bonds of 1000 each. A hearing is set for tomorrow at 9:30. Talmadge arrested by P J Casey Devon and G E Mallory Milford. Hopwood arrested in Stratford by Stratford police at Judge Blakeman’s farm where he worked. Both held overnight, no statements. Talmadge has attorney Judge Robert Stoddard 28. McGraw releases two St Louis May 12 manager said Bill Terry to Toledo and Bill McLoughin to Little Rock.

Frank Paloso nine of GS Retty street fell from a two story porch at rear of his frame yesterday but was not seriously hurt. He suffered bruises and shock with multiple fractures. George Jones of 408 Central Avenue was struck by a car yesterday while crossing Connection and Central Avenues, suffering probable internal injuries and removed to Bridgeport Hospital. John Zalia nine of 293 Samson Street fell from a fence yesterday suffering lacerations and abrasions and was taken to St Vincent's Hospital. Police had no record of the accidents.
