Zoning Board Denies Plan to Meet Private Developers
Officials of the Zoning Board of Appeals said no meeting has been arranged with Vogord-Shell Corp to discuss building 300 defense housing units on the former University of Bridgeport campus at Fremont and Norman streets. The firm’s counsel denied tenant limits to defense plant workers and said 30 day priority rents would go to workers, then the public. A rehearing is planned this month after a board tabling. both sides will speak.

Judge John H. King of the Superior court granted Effie Le couras Dalesio of Stamford an uncontested divorce from Frank Dalesio on the ground of intolerable cruelty. They married Sept. 2, 1950.
