Owners of Dogs Held Liable for Damage
Hartford May 6 AP The Supreme Court of Errors ruled a dog owner must keep a dog under adequate control or be liable for damages. The unanimous decision upheld a $959 judgment for James C. The collie had been owned by the Steinbergs and then given to Bercowetz, and often returned to the Steinberg home where the attack occurred.
