Four Stanford students stranded at 12 600 feet in Yosemite National Park face a worsening storm as rescuers race to reach them. Two are women Lenore Lamb and Margaret Meyer. Girl, 10, Burned by Power Line Near Home

Airliner Dives to Avoid Collision Over New Jersey
New York March 30 AP reports Capt Guthrie commander of a four engine National Airlines flight. he dived the BC- into a steep maneuver to avoid a head on clash with a twin engine plane near Newark Jersey. About 75 miles from New York, 53 passengers and crew escaped with minor injuries after luggage and people were thrown about.
