Chicago plans municipal airplane landing field along lake front
Chicago March 20 Members of the City Council aviation committee announced plans for a municipal landing field along the lake front near the municipal pier and within a short distance of downtown. The proposed field would be about 1,605 feet long and a portion of the width. It is hoped to have the field ready by July.
