Piggly Wiggly Counsel Denies Date Set for Deliveries
New York March 27 Associated Press Brad ford counsel for Clarence Saunders president of Piggly Wiggly today issued a statement denying he had agreed to March 26 as the date to end suspensions on deliveries. He said Saunders did not propose such a date nor consent to deliveries not made on March 21 being in default. He also denied that a March 23 letter stating that the ruling would let contracts from March 20 be covered with stock not purchased under Exchange contracts was an afterthought.
