Edward Holmes a year old high school student of Noble avenue and Lawrence Wollu a graduate of last year’s class of 107 Berkshire, are held without bonds at police headquarters facing highway robbery charges. Police say they stopped Peter Knik, a trucker on Berkshire avenue, demanded $85 and a revolver, then fled in a car after threatening him. Holmes was masked. a companion allegedly warned him not to alert anyone as they drove off. An ensuing pursuit ended when the man abandoned the chase at Beardsley Golf Course.
