Milford March 17 Four fires kept the Milford fire department busy today with grass fires and a wagon shed blaze. The worst damage came to Luther Hine’s Clarke street property where a wagon shed a hen house and about 190 bushels of corn were destroyed along with farming implements worth about 200 dollars. A later grass fire at Rose’s Mill on the Tri dian River district burned a section but was quickly knocked down. Other fires occurred near Ettador Park and Devon Gardens with fires started by smokers’ cigarettes and high winds, origin undetermined.
