Fairfield Plans 19 Houses On Mill Plain Land Parcel
Fairfield March 16. A large Mill Plain development will split the eight acre tract east of Mill Thain road north of the railroad into 19 building lots for varied three bedroom homes. An entrance road 50 feet wide will lead to a central park with houses facing it. Landscape architect Agnes Seliirk Clark of New York City designed the plan, with Aubrey Ifuller of Bridgeport surveying and staking the lots. Oliver Gould Jennings owned the property and offered it to Fairfield for civic use, but was ignored by officials. The project starts in a few weeks with five houses first, followed by batches of five until completion.
