Sermon Notes on Youth and Local Debates in Huntington
Huntington March 15 special. In a Shelton Congregational Church sermon Rev Tuther M Ikenestor argues today’s youth are no worse than in the past. Local issues include vandalism at the Plumb Library with books moved or damaged and unresolved concerns about road gravel and taxes. George Penny discusses road improvements, while Mayor Nettleton questions gravel sources and fiscal impact. Tax decisions and a $4,000 removal expense strain a $15,000 Gutmid e district appropriation, with Mrs Russ opposing higher rates despite outlying road complaints.
