Pershing Arrival in Bridgeport Event Schedule

General John J. Pershing will arrive by the Knickerbocker Limited at 2:15 PM in Bridgeport and be greeted by the American Legion Veterans of Foreign Wars Manufacturers' Association and Elks. He will tour local plants and attend a Casino address after a 5 PM armory reception for schoolchildren.

Parochial School Children Invited to Meet Pershing

William Beg, chairman of Pershing day arrangements, expanded an invitation for all parochial school children to attend a reception for General Pershing today at 5 o'clock in Bridgeport Armory. George W. Wheeler, vice chairman of the Americanization committee, assisted in extending the invitation.
