In Buffalo on March 13 William Richards age 9 suddenly attacked 14 year old William Murray, shooting him in the back of the head and then killing himself with a bullet to the brain. Murray died en route to Millard Fillmore Hospital. witnesses described a swift street confrontation and a crowd of bystanders.

Washington March 13 Chairman Borah of the Senate Foreign Relations committee told President there is little prospect of action on the Lausanne treaty with Turkey this session but he expects a vote on treaties with Great Britain defining the boundary between Canada and the United States. He added the Warren nomination can be disposed of tomorrow and the Senate probably will adjourn tomorrow night as many senators seek to leave. A quorum is in doubt.
