The force moved from its Monday morning objective and joined French efforts, as heavy fighting continues around the Nivray area and along the Luneville front.
London Conn March 12 A machinist Albert E F aged 33 home in New York killed himself with a revolver shot in the city. He was in charge of a navy guard along the state pier after being fed for overstaying leave. Officials cite overstated chances and truthfulness concerns.

Harry Unger 21 of 161 Spring Street rushed 100 yards to summon aid as flames engulfed his mother and sisters in a Park Street home after he poured gasoline on a coal fire to hasten it. Martha Unger 16 died at Bridgeport hospital. Theresa 4, Minnie Unger 75, and Harry 24 were critically burned.
