Prohibition Agents Mistaken for Bandits in Springfield
Prohibition agents were mistaken for bandits in Springfield Massachusetts early today. Dr. George Corcoran and Dr. Frea N. Daiclos, a veterinary surgeon, reported highwaymen attempting a hold up. They fled after one man stepped on the gang and fed from the supposed robbers. Daiclos was chased nearly five miles. The incident led to the revelation that the masked figures were actually prohibition agents in disguise.
