Last Sunday the First Presbyterian Church altered Sunday school timing with sessions at 9 45 AM before the 10 AM worship, a 10 AM men’s Bible class led by the pastor, and beginners’ class at 11 AM. The morning service moved to 9 21 AM to accommodate the new plan. attendance and engagement rose, and officers called it a success. The pastor’s member ship class continues tomorrow, covering the meaning of partaking in the Holy Communion.
After fuel conservation, The People s Church returns to its regular schedule and plans expanded facilities. Meetings move to Wednesday evenings with an ante-communion lecture on March 13. Thursday parlor sessions run 9 am to 4 pm for Red Cross work under Mrs S S Jones.
