Reed Gets Life Term For Gangland Killing Years

In New Haven a judge sentenced Jackie Reed to life imprisonment for murder in a gangland killing tied to a multi state crime ring. Reed, who chose his own lawyers, faced the execution of a 1970 bank robbery case and alleged accomplices as prosecutors tied him to a fatal shooting that claimed Biondi, 25, and stretched across New Haven County and beyond.
