Milford Concessionaires Hire Milford Lawyer Over Sunday Beach Curbs
Milford authorities face a dispute over Sunday opening at Walnut and Myrtle Beach concessions. Concessionaires have hired Robert Rosan to defend their business. 46 concessionaires are named in a church committee complaint alleging gambling-like risk in open-air games. If the enforcement committee proceeds to court, damages suits against the town and officials may follow. The issue centers on licenses and the town's ability to allow Sunday operations while church groups oppose such amusements.
