The law caused a sharp dip in state egg prices across large and extra large categories. Pullet eggs fell seven cents as buyers shun small eggs. Officials note pullet prices affect medium and large egg markets, which are abundant this season. many pullet eggs are exported to Latin American markets.

Plough Horses Send Princess Margaret On Wild Ride

In Williams Lake British Columbia on July 18 two plough horses pulling a stagecoach reared and bolted as Princess Margaret clutched a brace and hung on while driver Bill Hall fought to stop the pair. The princess watched the horses from a welcoming party at the railway station, then rode in a motorcade to the rodeo grounds. Hall said the horses had been loose in his pasture, explaining their wildness.

Two MEN Killed in Plane Crash at North Truro Beach

North Truro Massachusetts July 18 two men died and two others injured when a private plane crashed on a beach. Victims were Malcolm G. Harrison 39 Hoosick Falls New York and Joseph Murphy 20 Hoosick Falls. Pilot's son Paul Harrison 10 sustained minor injuries. Albert Kretzmer 46 remained in critical condition with a lung puncture at Cape Cod Hospital Hyannis. Murphy identified by ring inscription Hudson Valley Technical Institute.

All GIS Freed by Guba Rebels

Cuban rebels freed all held American servicemen at Guantanamo as 14 Marines and sailors arrived by airlift from mountain hideouts. The last group of 50 North Americans seized by rebels was released in a single operation. Fidel Castro reportedly ordered the final release, citing regional conflicts. The men were reportedly healthy and well treated after capture last month.

Children Missing Two Days Walk Out Of Wilderness Unharmed

Two children Francine Crego ten and Michael eight plus their dog Mike emerged from deep woods near Elephant Lake, Minnesota after more than 50 hours missing during a blueberry hunt. They were found walking a remote road about 11 miles east of their disappearance as a Valparaiso group driving past spotted them. The party, Edward Corncil his brother Pat and Edward's two sons David and Phillip, reported no serious injuries and said the children carried picked berries.
