Fire Raging At Twilight Inn In Catskills Kills 14

Norge pilot Umberto Nobile visits New York

Georgia banks forced to close statewide

Georgia banks and the Bankers Trust company of Atlanta have closed their doors since Monday morning. The state Department of Banks reports 48 banks shut, with total capitalization over 4.0 million and resources above 39.4 million dollars. The closures follow a court order placing the Thinkers Trust company affairs in receivership and restricting its officers.
